2009 Todays Harvest Corn Maze
Come wander through our field of flowers! In honor of our new flower shop, we've turned our corn field into a 9-mile maze of flowers and more.
You can take an easier walk through the .3-mile flower maze, or venture into the butterfly turns of the Wetzel maze. The Todays maze leads you on a complicated 3.2 miles of paths, while the Harvest maze is a challenge in difficulty and length -- 3.5 miles. A new game opportunity awaits visitors, too: they can play Sudoku through the maze, finding six hidden checkpoints to complete either an “easy” or “difficult” puzzle. Prizes await those who complete the entire maze and Sudoku, including the possibility of a Wii System with Wii Fit. The Corn Maze will be open weekends from August 28 through October 11, and the hours are Friday and Saturday: 10 a.m.-10 p.m.; Sunday: Noon-8 p.m. When the Corn Maze opens daily on October 12, the hours are Monday through Thursday: 10 a.m.- 8 p.m.; Friday and Saturday: 10 a.m.-10 p.m.; Sunday: Noon-8 p.m. Ticket prices remain the same: $7 per adult; $5 per child age 5-11, and children ages 4 and under are free. And of couse, our famous mums. We have a great following for our mums, and the reason is this: we grow them outside all spring and summer, rather than pampering them in a greenhouse, paying close attention to the root growth. We sell a hardy, strongly-rooted flower in the fall, and our customers have come to appreciate the quality difference!
